The argument against war
March 2, 2025 · Poem 16 of 112
To dance beneath the moonlight
with ghosts across the still lake
and take your place among them—
the feathered slipstreams of timeless
melodies,
a choreographed bulwark against
mortality.
The apotheosis of human artistry,
the argument against war—
the blue light of eternal love,
reflected in a child's eyes,
seen through your own tears.
