The dream
February 21, 2026 · Poem 1 of 112
The plan and execution—
A fool's errand: demanded retribution.
A lust for justice that only exists,
as a non-concept floating in the
recesses of your consciousness.
A dream of suffering as you fly over
the gray concrete; your eyes blaze as you
watch him ignite
the taste of flesh-burn
Ribbons through the air as it glides off your
wings in an invisible haze.
You don't need more than that.
This vivid simple dream...
You must remember, because it's more
than you ever thought you'd get.
And even worse—more than you
deserve.
